About Mind My Guest

Mind my Guest was born from my knowledge, training and work in luxury hotels, short term accommodation, property management and HR. My previous roles include regional coordinator for one of the world's most exclusive luxury hotel brands and the Wellington representative for one of Australia’s largest corporate short term accommodation providers, looking after their local properties and guests.
Complementing my professional background is over 20 years of real world experience as a home and investment property owner. I have bought and sold several properties and been a landlord and tenant here in Wellington and Australia. I also project managed the renovation of a large home here in Wellington. So not only do I know how to look after your guests, I also know how to look after your property. Apart from my family, travelling is my passion. Last year I packed the family up and we spent 3 months in London (in a fabulous flat we found on Airbnb). We wanted to experience London life and see as much of the UK as we could. So I also know from personal experience, what makes for good and bad accommodation and what guests want and need. The arrival of sites such as Airbnb are disrupting the travel industry with increasing numbers of travellers (both corporate and leisure) turning away from hotels, motels and service apartments, opting instead for unique, spacious accommodation that has the comforts of home. With that in mind, I formed Mind My Guest to provide a service to property owners who don’t have the time or experience in short term property management.
